If you know me at all, you would know that I don't like socks. Never have, probably never will. My older sister, Shannon, always teased me when I was younger because the seam on top of the sock where your toes are, had to be p.e.r.f.e.c.t. Not just perfect, but perfectly placed over the top of my toes. Thus beginning my dislike for socks (and tights... if that counts.) If it wasn't perfect they were ripped off and put back on as many times as it took for it to feel just right on my foot and in my shoe. I will only wear socks if its a must, otherwise my heart is happy without them. This brings me to my next topic, which is the same topic... just a different outlook of it. I was on pinterest and I found "The Sock Bun" at first I was disgusted and I thought to myself...
the sock bun won't break me... I will never wear socks, especially in my hair! Even though its cute.... and that was the end of it. My curiosity got the best of me so I did it... one late night. I could have been delirious... so I'm just going to say I was too tired to even know what I was doing. I maybe own 2 pairs of socks, meaning I used my moms sock for my bun. (sorry mom.) Point of my rant is that the only way you will ever catch me wearing
A sock is in my bun... on my head.
As for my bff's, well one is about to turn 4 and the other stinker just turned 1. Then there is Stac. She is 15. Who says you can't have best friends of all different ages?? I'm living proof its possible. I don't want to get all 'momlike' on here but... I was watching her try on homecoming dresses for her first high school dance, and I couldn't help but tear up. I always tell her:
You're still a toddler to me... stop growing up. I don't know if she remembers this but I used to pick her up from preschool. Those were the days, now I'm picking her up from
high school. How the heck did this happen? I'm proud of her, and I have come to a conclusion that you grew up way too quick bean. Best part of you growing up is that we never stopped being best friends.
xoxo, Kimberly.
