From day 1.

Yesterday I missed my 'thankful' post.

sorry guys.

I do have a life outside of blogging, which doesn't make me ungrateful... just means putting blogging second.
So I want to say I'm thankful for the things that make me laugh. I like making people laugh and I love witty people who can make me cry happy, laughing tears while giving me the worst side ache possible. There is absolutely NOTHING better than a good laugh. It truly is the best medicine.

I have a couple of people I want to share on here that have given me a good laugh in my 22 years of life. Waaaaay back when... I met this boy, and I never thought we could share the same sense of humor. I even doubted if his sense of humor could fit in with my families. I always expected just for the boy to make me laugh, (hopefully that doesn't sound selfish) what I mean is that I didn't have enough confidence in myself to even attempt to make a boy laugh... especially on a first date. If anything I could just get used to him and then eventually he would understand my sense of humor and give a few giggles if I was witty enough. Well, this character beat the odds folks. He thought I was funny from day 1. I think back to those moments and I was so much more outgoing about just being me, rather than being shy and conservative. I didn't have to try to impress him; I think that was the trick. I am grateful that I could make him laugh just as much as he made me laugh. We laughed so much that sometimes laughing through little arguments was the key. Its just how we are. Before he left on his mission, he got mission pictures taken and there is one that the photographer caught him laughing. He told his mom, "Give this one to Kim, because she always said she loved my laugh." So what did his cute mom do? Gave me a gift I will forever cherish, and every time I look at it, I can hear his laugh as clear as day.

Yes, its hanging up in my room :)

Ellen Degeneres. The lady is brilliant, kay guys? What makes her even better is she is all about making a difference, standing up to bullying, dancing, just such a positive person. I absolutely adore her show, not to mention her humor.

Last but not least, (I know this is silly) but I am grateful that I am not color blind so I can see this beautiful color. Its my favorite lately... and I'm guessing it could possibly be a wedding color. Not that I'm planning it or anything. paha.

loveyoulongtime.
