Juner 40.

My little Bean turned 16 today.

It's mind boggling.

In my mind and heart she is still my little toddler of a sis.

I think last year I told this same story or I have mentioned it on Facebook somewhere... but I'm going to tell it again because I'll never forget how I felt on this day.

I was 7.

and MORE than happy to have a little sister.

It was all I ever needed and wanted.

For 7 years I begged, pleaded, cried, whined, asked every day for a little sister and never quite understood why my mom wouldn't just buy me one. Everyone else had one, so why not me?

I waited patiently, and probably not in a polite way... but I waited for 7 years.

"I waited for you... for SEVEN years!!"- Feels like I'm in the scene of The Notebook. hah!

Okay, okay so my attention span on here is like 2 seconds.

What I'm trying to say is that I am beyond blessed to have Staci in my life, and not only as my sister but a best friend. You don't see that very often. Especially if they are farther apart than 4 years.

I'll never forget these play days with you:

House.

Bank.

Barbies.

Barbies that go to prom.

McDonald's. (Who wouldn't want to work there?)

Donkey Kong.-how many times did we pee our pants from laughter? like 80.

Just Dance.

Mario Kart.

Catch Phrase.

& especially these days:

Changing your diaper.

Wiping your bum.. even if my friends are over.-True love.

Getting you milk at 10 p.m. Every night.

Bouncing off the couch to make you laugh.

Camping.. in our backyard.

Shopping.

Driving for snow cones.

(or to every single 7-11 in July)

Swimming.

Vegas days.

Water slides in the front yard.

Photo shoots.

Movies.(It's Herbie Hancock.. duuuuuh.)

Sleepovers if we've had a rough day.

(or if its too hot in your room.)

I could go on... but I am so happy these moments are with you, and I'm so happy there are more to come! Happy sweet 16 little bean.

You deserve the best day.
