"Kim, I'm so glad you're MY sister."
I hear this sentence quite often these days.
I know I say this in like half of my posts on here... but there really is nothing, absolutely nothing, greater than a sister. I'm so lucky because I have a total of 3. I often think of how I am so blessed to be best best best friends with Stac. People comment us on how much they love our relationship and how they wish they could be close to their siblings... and have that same bond as Stac and I do.
On a few occasions, we have been mistaken as twins. No worries.. we are only 7 years apart. Grateful I look 16 and Staci is grateful she looks 22, because then she can sneak into country dancing. yipes. I am totally okay with being mistaken as twins because Stac looks like a Victoria Secret model, so its fun to be the blonde version of her.
Today we spent the day together so this post is because I am overwhelmed with the amount of love I feel from her.
For instance, right now, I am laying on her bed watching her get ready to go out with her boy and she just asked me:
"What are you bloggin about?"
-she knows because I am typing frantically on this little red laptop-
Smiling I said:
"you."
Her: "Oh man... I'm gonna cry huh?"
I just smiled.
Then she said, "Kim, honestly I'm so glad I have you... life would be so boring without you."
See readers... this is why I have to share the love. People need more of this in their life. People need this type of love where you are just grateful constantly for everything God has blessed you with. What Stac doesn't know is that when she says those things to me, asks me to hang out with her on a Saturday (cuz you know, every 16 yr. old wants to hang out with their 22 yr. old sister on Saturday..) or wants to have a John Hughes marathon all day. Jeez, it tugs at my heart strings and I get teary eyed because I hope to be every example for her. I hope to be the greatest in her eyes. Those little things make me feel like I'm the greatest.
So, whether it be breaking displays at Target
dancing in the hallway...
wearing my entire closet on your dates...
(Ohh... the struggles deciding what to wear.)
reciting every line from our favorite movies...
pranking dad/ recording his silly rants secretively...-inserts crying laughing emoji here-
or you telling me that you're so happy I'm YOUR sister...
Those things... make me feel like I'm fulfilling my part by being the best for you.
Let's hang out tomorrow? ... oh, wait.. you already asked me at dinner ;)
xo.
p.s. Killer is chowin' down on his rocks. whyyyy?

luv u both amazing people...
