Just a Silly Meme

I had the wonderful opportunity to go on a shoot with one of my closest friends. She is like a polynesian version of me.... but she is white... like me... so, take that as you will. Here is a little background story of how we met and how are friendship went from 'hi buddies' to 'you-know-more-about-me-than-I-do.'

I have worked at the fitness center for 5 years, this is my fifth summer... (mind blown.) Basically, I should be a manager, I'm just sayin. Back to the matter at hand: I applied to work at the front counter 2 years ago and seriously have become part of a family. Its beyond friendships there and lets just say I absolutely love my job and what I do.

During my first year I worked the morning shifts and every single shift was with this girl who I never imagined would ever become one of my bestest friends in the world. We were so quiet and shy for like a month, basically only talked to each other when I had a question about certain programs, memberships, etc.

On a particular Friday I had this picture on my phone that I was desperately wanting to show someone. It possibly was the dumbest picture ever, but it was hilarious to me and I thought just maybe this could be the thing that would break the ice for us.

Moral: We laughed until we peed our pants. That was it. Best friends within seconds.

Now as years have passed our friendship has been built on so much more than just silly meme's. We found things in common that I never thought possible. Things I have always felt alone in.

So Tay, I love you girl. Thank you for asking me to take your pictures. You're gorgeous, and I can't thank you enough for the friendship you have given me. For many years to come I know I can always come to you and receive the greatest advice.

Thank you for teaching me how to be charitable, and how to be a true friend. I only hope to have all the knowledge and wisdom you have someday.

xo.

p.s. Those of you who like my photography, I'm new and just starting out. I charge $75.00 for a disc and I typically shoot for two hours, so you have a good variety. I go wherever you like.. country or city and put my spin on it. Hope you love the few shoots I have shown. You guys are great for reading things that I love. Thank you.
